The Karo and their Neighbors

The Karo people share their homeland with several marga of Karo descent. Each group has a slightly different language and culture, but all remain branched from Karo heritage originally. The Karo are a peacefully, passive community that shares its vales and beliefs with the surroundings. The Karo only recently have been involved with government, who is trying to incorporate them into the modern Indonesian capitol.
